Stop Trying To Get Pregnant And Let It Happen Naturally Instead

For many people conception has turned into the science of trying to create a new life. That can bring with it a cloud of apprehension and despair when things don't go as planned. Conception should be a joyous event and an easy process. Here are some things to keep in mind when your mind clouds with worry.

It is understandable to get depressed and stressed out when you so desperately want a baby but are unable to get pregnant. But did you know getting stressed out can actually make it even more difficult to conceive? It is a vicious cycle where stress and infertility feed each other.

To end this viscous cycle of stress and worry, turn your focus onto you. Forget about conceiving and having a baby and concentrate on yourself for a change. Make yourself feel better. Don't beat yourself up for having a hard time conceiving. In other words, stop trying to get pregnant. Focus on making yourself healthy and happy. Focus on your relationship with your husband and give pregnancy a chance to happen in its own natural way.

Getting pregnant naturally is all about staying relaxed and letting nature work its wonders according to its own plan. The more you try to turn conception into a scientific work and plot and get wrapped up in the mechanics of it, the more unnatural the whole process becomes and that is when the pressures start to mount. Stress and anxiety is the last thing you need when you are trying to get pregnant.

Your state of mind has a lot more bearing on this wondrous life event than you might realize. Stress can upset the delicate balance that is needed for this fragile process to unwind. Your psychological factors play a major role in conception but it is still wise to realize that many other factor come into play when dealing with fertility issues. Reproductive health and related cycles and dynamics are complicated and all affect each other.

When dealing with infertility, depression is common and anxiety is heightened. It is difficult to keep your emotions under control. This relationship between emotions and infertility has long been an area of interest even if it has not been fully explored by medical experts.

The message and jury are both out first focus on improving your quality of life, lifestyle, by increasing your odds, you can significantly improve your potential success rate and take-home-baby rate by stressing less (NOT MORE!) so, relax, stop trying to get pregnant, natural is better!

Besides, natural is more fun for you and your spouse. You can relax and enjoy the activities leading up to the creation of a new life rather than making your spouse feel like a science experiment.

Alice D Domar is the Director of the Women's Health Programs at the Mind/ Body Institute at the Harvard Medical School, and this expert states there is a strong connection between stress and its detrimental affect upon human reproductive systems.

Remember that stress is not only emotional; it causes physical changes in the body as well through the release of certain neurochemicals that alter body chemistry. It could be these chemical changes that disrupt the process of conception.

WITHOUT QUESTION: STRESSING OVER GETTING PREGNANT is like setting the body, process and your partner (as well as yourself) up for certain failure and disappointment, stacking the odds against, not for conceiving that precious little life you both so desperately want.

Get out of the vicious cycle and off the treadmill of worry and start having fun, enjoying life and allowing nature to take its course if and when it is meant to be, the body and mind primed best ahhhh.
